Community pantries

What is a community pantry?

A community pantry is a place where hungry people and families can directly receive food. This food is either free or priced lower than cost, and is generally non-perishable (i.e. in cans or boxes).

Mobile pantries are a more mobile version of the traditional community pantry. Mobile pantries can be run from trucks loaded with food in pre-packed boxes or displayed on tables like a market stall.

Community pantries allow you to choose what items you want to take home.
