Maitland Mattress Muster

 

The much anticipated Mattress Muster will return to Council’s Depot carpark in Metford on Saturday 21 November from 8:30am until 3pm.

Each household in the Maitland local government area can drop off up to four mattresses free of charge. Cot mattresses, innerspring mattresses, foam and latex mattresses and ensemble bases will be accepted, however a mattress with an ensemble base will count as two items.

By participating in this Mattress Muster you will ensure that components of your old mattresses are recycled instead of being disposed of to landfill. This is an opportunity for residents to do their bit for the environment by simply recycling something they might not use anymore, all free of charge.

To participate in this recycling initiative, proof of residence in the Maitland local government area will be required at the time of drop off.
