Tenants’ Voice Forum

Tenants’ Voice Forums give you an opportunity to hear about the broader issues that affect all customers. We encourage customers to get involved by applying to join the forums. We want the forums to reflect the diversity of our customers. You can expect to hear from Hume employees who will provide updates on changes affecting the communities we look after and other useful services outside Hume. You will be given the opportunity to provide feedback to us and also hear about the experiences of your neighbours.

Tenants’ Voice Leadership Team

If you regularly attend Tenants’ Voice Forums and would like to be more active in your Hume community, you may consider joining a Tenants’ Voice Leadership Team. Groups for Metro and Regional customers meet every second month and provide input into Hume’s policy and service provision to help ensure customers’ voice is listened to and acted upon. Group members also work with staff to deliver community engagement activities to the benefit of all customers. We encourage you to get involved and believe every customer's perspective is valuable and needs to reflect the diversity of our customers.

Block and Community Meetings

Block and Community Meetings are run intermittently as an opportunity for customers of a specific locale to raise concerns or suggestions about their community with their Housing and Community team. These are opportunities to improve two-way communication and provide an opportunity for issues to be raised directly with Hume employees and information from Hume to be shared with customers. They are also an opportunity for you to connect and get to know your neighbours.
